1999 Feldmeier Double Tube HTST Skid. Model: PWS. S/N: PW-1-99. 316 stainless steel construction. 3-Sections with: pasteurizer, regeneration, chiller. Previously used to heat/ sterilize 30 gpm of purified water at 250 °F. Maximum flow rate: 50 gpm. Inlet water temperature was 50 °F. Raw regeneration outlet temperature was 210 °F using 80% regeneration, heated to 250 °F using saturated steam. Hold time a 250 °F was 20 seconds. Cooked regeneration outlet temperature was 90 °F, cooled to 55 °F using 45 °F chilled water. Steam requirements: 1000 lb/hr. Chilled water requirement: 200 gpm @ 44 °F. Pasteurizer consists of 16 tubes with inner tube dimensions of 1-1/2 in. dia. x 9 ft. 2 in. L and outer tube dimensions of 2-1/2 in. dia. x 8 ft. 11 in. L. Regeneration consists of 60 tubes with inner tube dimensions of 1-1/2 in. dia. x 9 ft. 2 in. L and outer tube dimensions of 2 in. dia. x 8 ft. 11 in. L.
