Mueller MaximICE Ice Slurry System. Model: ORE–100. Approximate capacity: 130 nominal tons using R-22 Freon or approximately 90 tons using R-717, ammonia. Solution feed requirement to ORE-100: 245 gpm. Required inlet pressure range: 5 - 30 psig. The Mueller MaximICE orbital pod evaporator (ORE) is capable of making ice slurry with varieties of applications to include the cooling of processing equipment, and Thermal Energy Storage Systems(TES). Ice slurry formed by using a freeze-depressant solution with liquid refrigerant can drain into, or be pumped to the top of a storage tank to be used in a processing heat sink, or have ice directly harvested. Advantages of slurry ice include optional storage container arrangements as it does not adhere to heat transferring surfaces, or need defrosting. 1999 API Ketema evaporator, Leeson electric motor drive, 1998 H.A. Phillips refrigeration pressure receiver, (2) GrundFoss vertical in-line centrifugal pumps, (2) Baldor Electric motors, Danfoss solenoid coil. Stainless steel ice storage tank - 950 Gallon. Inside dimensions: 7 ft. 3 in. L x 5 ft. 11 in. W x 3 ft. H. Overall dimensions: 9 ft. L x 6 ft. 6-1/2 in. W x 12 ft. 2-1/2 in. H.(H16)(ACN850).
