Frozen Juice System. Designed to take 3000 gallons per hour of frozen orange juice (0 degrees F), melt, grind, and liquefy it to a pumpable stage of 34 °F. Entire system consists of roller conveyor track, vertical lift dumper, stainless steel thaw tunnel, stainless steel food chopper, 400 gallon tank with agitator, and Tri-Clover positive displacement pump. Roller conveyor track features (14) rollers suspended in a 78 in. L x 37-1/2 in. W x 16 in. H Frame. Height at conveyor inlet: 14 in. Maximum aperture/clearance: 25 in. L x 24 in. W. Vertical lift has ability to dump product at a height of 14 ft. Lift is driven by a 2 hp Baldor Industrial Motor coupled to a Reynard Wormgear Speed Reducer with a ratio of 60:1 and a final rpm of 28.83. Product travels down through a 30 in. L x 29 in. W stainless steel tunnel into a stainless steel food chopper. Food chopper has (2) 12 in. dia. x 28 in. L press rollers. Chopper is activated by a 40 hp U.S. Motor coupled to a U.S. Motor Drive, with an output rpm of 350.79. A 400 Gallon Double Jacketed, Sloped-Bottom Stainless Steel Tank mixes and blends product with a (4) paddle agitator. Agitator blades are 11-1/2 in. L x 4 in. W. A 5 hp Lincoln AC Motor in conjunction with a Winsmith Speed Reducer, with a final rpm of 58.16, provide the power to rotate the agitator. A 9 in. L x 2 in. W tank outlet feeds into a Tri-Clover Positive Displacement Pump inlet. Pump has a 3 in. dia. outlet. Overall dimensions: 20 ft. L x 70 in. W x 9 ft. 6 in. H.
