1992 Waukesha Cherry Burrell Corrugated Triple Tube Heat Exchanger - 20 ft. S/N: 922440BA. Heat exchanger features five 19 ft. length tubes with 316 stainless steel product contacts and 304 stainless steel media contacts. Shell side MAWP: 650 psi. Tube side MAWP: 780 psi. Clamp rating @ 70°F: 1,600 psi. Steam flush/leak detect fittings. Designed with 2 pre-cooling tubes to cool from 90°F to 55°F, and 3 cooling tubes to cool from 55°F to 36°F degrees using 28°F glycol. Middle corrugated product tube dimensions: 2 in. dia. x 19 ft. Media inner tube dimensions: 1 in. dia. x 20 ft. 6 in. Media outer tube dimensions: 3 in. dia. x 18 ft. 6 in. All tubes are insulated. Temperature progression, in first 8 tubes 20 gpm of gravy 190 °F to 100 °F using 80 gpm of 70 degrees water (water exits at 92 °F), 44 pound drop on product, 15 pound drop on the water, 860,000 btu in 392 square feet surface area. In the last 4 tubes 80 gpm of 40 degree water coming with a 10 pound pressure drop and 20 gpm product in at 100 °F out at 70 °F with a 50 pound drop 286,600 btu. On CIP, 140 gpm all tubes with 30 pound drop. maximum product clearance....5/8 in. rated pressure, product 170 pounds, water side 150 pounds.
